Curving - Traditional curving


These are art works made of different types of wood to bring out different aspects of the African man. They come in different shapes, types and shades depicting the different cultural differences from the communities in East Africa.


 

Curving - Animal curving








There are several animal curving which include animals such as elephants, giraffes, Zebras, lions, cats, Gazelles, rhino, hippo and a reptile the crocodile.


 
Soap stone items


These are items from a community in Kenya called the Kisiis. They use soap stone to come out with beautiful art work. Among items available are a seven piece coaster set, soap dishes, plates, animals etc.

 

Beaded Maasai belts








The belts come in different sizes. They are beaded using different patterns and colors which make them look colorful and unique.

 
Ciondos ( African bag)


The local name for these bags is (Ciondos)– The bag ( kiondo) is made of sisal made thread which has been dyed in shades and colors to make these beautiful bags.. They are used by the African woman as an all purpose bag including: purse, harvesting bag, carrying bag etc.

Necklaces come in different types, shades, styles and materials. The traditional maasai necklace is popular and greatly associated with the maasai community living in Kenya and parts of Tanzania, the samburu and some Kalenjin communities found in Kenya.
